GLOBAL UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION SCHEME  (GUIx)  – Version 3.1 Publication Date 09-06-2010
The Global Unique Identification scheme defines the entities, the structure and the syntax rules that have to be applied to create globally unique identification numbers for these entities. The method applied is based upon the International Standard ISO/IEC 15459 series for “Information Technology Unique Identifiers” that specifies unique identifiers for supply chain management, such as transport units, (known as the License Plate number), serialised items, lot/batch numbers, returnable transport items or groupings of transport units.
OVERPACK LABEL  – Version 1.0  Publication Date 07-05-2013
Tracking of products throughout the supply chain requires consistent marking. Product number assignment and uniqueness – both at the general product level and instance level (i.e., the specific item itself) – are critical elements in the delivery phase of the supply chain processes. Overpacks are widely used to consolidate, combine or merge product packages or unpacked products to one pack which is then identified as object/handling unit. The criteria that are applied to create Overpacks may be order dependent or process related.
PRODUCT PACKAGE LABEL  – Version 3.0  Publication Date 24-11-1999
Minimum requirements for identifying product packages that are distributed internationally outside the originating location. These specifications provide maximum flexibility for size, location, and identification information for the marking of product packaging, e.g. reels, tubes, and the packaging of one or more assemblies and finished products. Product package markings are intended to insure that products or parts can be identified once the items have been separated from their original shipping labels.
PRODUCT/PRODUCT PACKAGE LABEL IN EXTENDED SUPPLY CHAINS  – Version 1.0  Publication Date 04-05-2012
…recommendations on marking products and product packages for extended supply chains. It explains issues and provides recommendations for marking products that are manufactured by one company, sold to a second company who incorporates it in a product offering and sells to a third party – the end user or final customer.
RFID WHITE PAPER –  Version 1.0 Publication Date 14-03-2007
The EDIFICE RFID white paper provides awareness of the RFID technology and is intended to people who have no or little experience with the technology. The document gives advice on what has to be considered in the conception phase of a RFID project and provides operational aspects. The EDIFICE RFID white paper could be regarded as an overview manual, which summarizes the aspects, which should be taken into consideration, for making the decision on a RFID-project.
RFID – Version 1.0 Publication Date 18-01-2010
How to implement RFID in B2B processes for product marking, product package marking or transport package / shipment marking. This guideline aims to give companies guidance upon their investment in RFID trials/solutions that span over multiple possible usage areas (internally as well as externally) by providing a more precise implementation recommendation based on existing global standards. It will help to better understand RFID and ease the implementation of RFID applications, as much as possible, to complement to existing Barcode and 2D symbol based solutions.
SET LABEL – Version 1.1 Publication Date 22-03-2013
To enable fast capture of the type and instance identification of a hierarchical structured product without opening the package or correlating electronically received data, this document defines how to encode multiple product information in a high capacity media (e.g. 2D symbols or RFID tags), in a hierarchical and structured way. The capability of automatic identification of the content in a package supports the goods receiving, warehousing, inventory management and redistribution processes. Using this specification, the Lifecycle Management can be extended from products down to components of products. The components can be imported into relevant systems and tracked on a type and instance level.
SHIPMENT/TRANSPORT LABEL  – Version 5.0  Publication Date 28-11-2001
The purpose of a bar code label is to facilitate the automatic exchange of data among all members within a channel of distribution, e.g. supplier, carrier, purchase and other intermediaries. The amount of data, in linear bar code, two-dimensional symbols and in human readable form, is dependent on the requirements of the trading partners. Where a bar code label is used in conjunction with electronic data bases and/or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, the amount of data may be significantly reduced and may consist of only one piece of data, the unique identifier for the transport unit….
SYMBOLS USED ON LABELS FOR PRODUCTS AND PACKAGES  – Version 1.0 Publication Date 06-12-2014
This document gives and overview of the IT and Telecom industry's most commonly used symbols for supply chain applications. It also provides different views on their use by supply chain layer as well as regional relevance.
WEB AND KEYBOARD COMPATIBLE ENCODING WITH ASC DATA IDENTIFIERS  – Version 1.0 Publication Date 02-01-2018
Applications: Applications within the Electronic and supply industries are potentially known everywhere where data are scanned from AIDC media and to be transmitted through WEB interfaces, keyboard interfaces or virtual keyboard interfaces. It is known that the subject of the EDIFICE guideline is experienced in AIDC applications already like for unique identification within Healthcare processes, and that it is part of the CEN project 'Fishbox Label'.
