119-Summary Report
The 119th EDIFICE Conference was held on March 5-7, 2013. The conference was hosted by Infineon on their Campus in Munich. Software AG co-sponsored the event.
The theme covered: “Global Supply Chain Process Collaboration with Customers and Suppliers. B2B as a Global enabler for end-to-end Business Process Integration”
The Conference was opened by Mr. Mittal, Member of the Management board at Infineon and featured great contributions from all divisions at Infineon presented by top-management: IT, Purchasing, Distribution, Sales & Marketing. More contributions from Continental, MEMC, Analog Devices and Robert Bosch, STMicroelectronics, Software AG, CrimsonLogic eTrade Services, L&T Infotech and The University of Applied Sciences of Austria FHOO.
The Feedback from the audience acknowledges that this was a great event and that EDIFICE is on the right track. First time participants are impressed by the openness of sharing valuable information.

EDIFICE Activities
BILL: Tony Nisbett of TrustWeaver, EDIFICE BILL chair reported on the VAT Directive Transposition Status across Europe.
ADC: Automatic Data Capture group presented on the newly endorsed Overpack Label Guideline and the road map for 2013.
DCM: Distribution Channel Management calls for participation in its activities and requests input on new activities in this business area.
BPA reported on the publication of the 33 enliteB2B Data Models and the road map for 2013.
EDIFICE will engage in activities around ROI Calculation, Innovative B2B (INNOV8) and B2B Integration for SMEs. These topics were addressed during the open space discussions in Munich. More details will follow shortly.

EDIFICE Organization
Elections:
Boudewijn Janssen of Amkor Technology was re-elected as Chair for the next term of 2 years. Steven Spence of HP was re-elected Secretary for the next term of 2 years.
Post meeting organizational update: The EDIFICE Americas Chapter elected Bob Sartor of DHL and Bob Manitz of HP repectively as Chair and Vice-Chair of the EDIFICE Americas Chapter. Both will be Vice-Chair in the EDIFICE Global Organization.
Financials:
The Auditors, Mario Mueller of Siltronic and Ulrike Melzer of Infineon, performed the audit on the 2012 financial figures and reported that these were accurate and correct.
Endorsements:
The 119th Plenary endorsed new Publications in the area of : Automatic Data Capture, Distribution Channel Management and a set of 33 new enliteB2B Data Models.

Ulrike Melzer and Infineon were thanked to host this EDIFICE conference at their campus in Munich. The overall organisation was splendid, logistics were magnificent, the food was great. Software AG was thanked for sponsoring the meal on Wednesday night.

EDIFICE welcomed over 90 people spread over the three days representing 30+ different organisations.
