EDIFICE embarked on a study identifying the bottlenecks preventing the proliferation of B2B integration in all layers of the business. The results of the study revealed that B2B message standards currently available are too complex. This complexity is responsible to the high investment businesses have to make before they can participate in an integrated B2B exchange with their partners. Under the umbrella of the enliteB2B program EDIFICE launched a first deliverable: the enliteB2B format for the purchase order, the ASN and the invoice messages. Today, EDIFICE is ready to release those definitions to its membership. |
