GXS—a global leader in B2B e-commerce and integration services—began a project to extend their Trading Grid platform for supply chain automation with value-add services built on third party cloud computing technologies. Through their partnership with Microsoft, GXS is developing and enhancing a trading partnership analytics service called Trading Partner Analytics. The solution serves a dual role of providing interesting new value to existing Trading Grid customers and allowing GXS to gain field experience with cloud technologies and business models in parallel.
